Trudi evolves and becomes a successful brand. From the “Miniature” characters the “Trudini” and “Mini Trudini” are born, small-sized collectable soft toys that would become the company’s best sellers and would open new markets.
Trudi’s classic line is combined with a series of products with a sweeter image, created in particular to stimulate sensory development in babies: the Baby line.

Curiosity
At the end of the 1980s the Ritratti line is created: slightly bigger soft toys for which top-quality hair is selected, thanks to the innovations occurred in the clothing industry, where eco-fur materials are introduced, which lend themselves to the use in puppets.
Trudi’s Giovanni the Bear is invited to Nevada City, California. With his passport ready for the United States of America he arrives at the “American Victorian Museum” for the famous Teddy Bear Annual Convention.
