
The company today is clearly an international business: 50% of its turnover comes from foreign markets.
Distribution is focused in about 40 nations. Three branches have been opened in France, Spain and Germany. The rest of the distribution is guaranteed by a close-knit network of the most important distributors in Europe.
Distribution is provided not only in the toy channel, but also in other channels, across which the company's brands/products have been diversified; distribution is made through traditional retail sale, partnerships with specialised stores and the main Italian and foreign distribution chains like COIN, La Rinascente, Mondatori, Corte Ingles, Harrods, La Fayette.
Direct sale is guaranteed by 25 Trudi stores in Italy, including both mono-brand and franchising stores. Three mono-brand stores have recently been opened abroad, two in Slovenia in the cities of Maribor and Ljubljana and one in Bulgaria in Sophia. Expansion abroad in the new emerging European markets will continue with important objectives. |
